Summer is almost here, remember to have your pets spaced or nuetered and help control the pet population. This is why adopting from a Shelter who spays their adoptables before they go home to you or offer certificates to help with the cost of Spay and Neutering is a win win situation.

Summer Warning...as the nice weather comes, and fiddo LOVES to go for a car ride with you...please only take your pet with you if you are going to be staying with them in the car..where you can control  the AC and take them out if it's too hot, and have water on hand always. Too many animals are left in cars and trucks when their owner runs a simple 2 minute errand into a store... the sales clerk is slow...or you run into a long lost friend you haven't talked to in forever.....and as much as you love your pet...they slip your mind for the time being and minutes pass longer than you expected...see how easily time gets away from you.....and the result can be devastating for your pets life....think about it please before you take Fiddo for the car ride on hot days.

Please concider adoption of a pet in need who is homeless, awaiting a home in a shelter or rescue. Researching the right breed or mix is a great start to finding a compatable pet for your home.

Remember there are many breed specific rescue groups who have purebreds needing homes.

In Nova Scotia Pet Adoption is becoming more popular which is great to see, Spay and nueter your current pets to help control the pet over popualtion

Retired Racing Greyhounds are purebred dogs who have many years to share with your family as a loving pet. Cat like in nature, Greyhounds are docile, 45 mile an hour couch potatoes.

Adopting an Adult Dog, a Puppy, a Cat or Kitten is one of the most rewarding things you can do. A pet without a family of it's own faces an uncertain furture, turned into shelters when their families can not afford them, move away, no longer have time for them or their owners become sick and simply cannot care for them, some get lost or even abondoned, this is when they need you most.

Please concider Nova Scotia pet adoption and opening your heart and home to an animal in need, visit your local animal shelter or rescue group. Share your home with a Cat or Dog and recieve unconditioanl love from a faithful companion.

There are thousands of dogs and cats needing homes every year , please concider Nova Scotia Pet Adoption

Kittens and Puppies are sweet, but please spay and Neuter your pets and help control the pet popuation.

Nova Scotia Pet Adoption, what a wonderful option to have...adopting one homeless pet will make a difference.
